Scorpions - Love At First Sting (50th Anniversary Deluxe Edition) - 2 CD + DVD
In 2015, the Scorpions celebrated their 50th anniversary. On the occasion of the band's birthday, they have therefore come up with something very special for their fans: the "50th Anniversary Deluxe Edition". In this edition, the Scorpions are re-releasing a series of different studio and live albums. For this, the band has also pulled numerous previously unreleased tracks, including rare live recordings, alternative versions of their songs and rough mixes from their archives.
Thus, "Love At First Sting", released in 1984, also appears in a remastered version in 2015.
In addition to the nine original album tracks, this contains five additional demo songs selected by the band that have never been released before. An additional DVD, released together with the CD in a high-quality digipack, features video clips of "Still Loving You," "Rock You Like A Hurricane," "Big City Nights" and "I'm Leaving You" as well as a best-of of TV appearances by the Scorpions and an interview with the band in which they talk about the making of "Love At First Sting."
As a special extra there is a 16-page booklet with new liner notes by Edgar Klüsener, the former Metal Hammer editor-in-chief, some rare photographs and images of single covers, posters and backstage passes.
In addition to the CD and DVD version, "Love At First Sting" will also be released as an LP with accompanying CD.
